Sources & Scientific Background

This app is a reference work for homeopathic remedies and Schüssler tissue salts. The information it contains is based on the historical-traditional homeopathic literature, the majority of which has long been in the public domain.

Historical foundations

Classical homeopathy was founded by Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843) and systematically described in his works. His central treatise Organon of the Medical Art and the Materia Medica Pura are in the public domain today and freely accessible through public archives.

The Schüssler tissue salt system was developed by Wilhelm Heinrich Schüssler (1821–1898), who defined twelve mineral salts as a therapeutic foundation.

Editorial preparation

The texts in this app about individual remedies and salts — including typical uses, symptom pictures, and common potencies — are editorial summaries based on the public-domain literature cited above as well as other freely accessible sources. They are not literal translations of any single historical work.

Content is reviewed and updated on a regular editorial schedule.

Scientific context

The scientific discussion around the efficacy of homeopathic remedies remains controversial. Major systematic reviews conclude that an effect beyond placebo has not been demonstrated.

This app takes no position in this debate. It documents the applications passed down within the homeopathic tradition and presents them as a reference work.

The information in this app does not replace medical or pharmaceutical advice. For health concerns — especially acute, persistent or severe symptoms, during pregnancy, with infants, or for chronic conditions — please always consult a physician or pharmacist.
